About The Role
At Aye, we’re reimagining how people pay, earn, and connect — using face as the new universal identifier for payments, loyalty, and personalized experiences.
We’re looking for a Full-stack React Native Developer to join our product and engineering team, building high-performance, scalable mobile applications that power the Aye ecosystem. You’ll play a key role in enhancing our mobile experience, integrating advanced APIs, and ensuring reliability across both iOS and Android platforms. This role offers the opportunity to shape a product used by thousands of users and merchants across Southeast Asia
Key Responsibilities
- App Development
- Build, maintain, and optimize cross-platform mobile apps using React Native, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend teams to deliver seamless, user-centered experiences.
- Backend Integration
- Develop and maintain Node.js services, integrating APIs and ensuring smooth data flow between front-end and backend systems.
- Manage PostgreSQL databases and implement Sequelize ORM for structured data modeling.
- Feature Implementation
- Integrate Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for push notifications and other mobile engagement tools.
- Handle app release cycles, including build configuration, release management, and submission to App Store and Play Store.
- Code Quality & Collaboration
- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following best practices and version control standards.
- Collaborate effectively using Git workflows, contributing to code reviews and deployment processes.
- Security & Performance
- Implement mobile security best practices to safeguard sensitive data and API communications.
- Optimize code performance for stability, scalability, and speed across devices.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience building mobile apps with React Native.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, PostgreSQL, and Sequelize ORM.
- Solid experience with Redux, MobX, or other state management libraries.
- Familiarity with Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and mobile deployment workflows.
- Strong command of Git and modern CI/CD practices.
- Proven ability to contribute to full product lifecycles — from concept to live deployment.
- Passionate about crafting clean, secure, and high-performing mobile experiences.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Prior experience in a product-driven development environment.
- Knowledge of loyalty systems or payment integrations.
- Experience with map services, geolocation, or deep linking features.
- Familiarity with Docker
