What is AyeFace?+
AyeFace is a universal AI-powered checkout and loyalty platform. It enables merchants to accept all payment methods and automate loyalty programs via facial recognition — turning every checkout into a revenue intelligence opportunity.
Is there really a free plan?+
Yes — our Free plan includes universal checkout, all payment methods, and automatic loyalty profile creation at no cost. No credit card required.
Do I need special hardware?+
No. AyeFace works with any device that has a camera — tablets, phones, existing POS terminals, or self-checkout kiosks. No proprietary hardware purchase required.
Which countries are supported?+
AyeFace operates across Southeast Asia with a primary focus on Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Cross-border payment capabilities are expanding to include China via TenPay (coming soon).
Payments & Integrations
What payment methods are supported?+
We support VISA, Mastercard, DuitNow, Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, ShopeePay, and many more across APAC. Our universal terminal accepts all major QR-based and card-based methods.
Can AyeFace integrate with my existing POS?+
Yes. AyeFace integrates with virtually any POS system via API. It can also operate as a standalone terminal without any POS, transforming any camera-equipped device into a smart checkout point.
How does the SEA to China cross-border payment work?+
Our upcoming cross-border feature allows customers from Southeast Asia to use their existing QR codes or cards at merchants in China via TenPay — one biometric confirmation, no manual currency conversion or extra apps. Available soon.
Privacy & Security
How is biometric data handled?+
Biometric enrollment is strictly opt-in. Facial templates are encrypted and processed in a privacy-preserving manner — raw images are never stored. We comply with GDPR (EU), PDPA (Malaysia & Singapore), DPA (Philippines), PDPA (Thailand), PDPD (Vietnam), UU PDP (Indonesia), and PDPO (Brunei) — consent-first biometric enrolment in every jurisdiction we operate.
Is AyeFace GDPR and PDPA compliant?+
Yes. AyeFace is compliant with GDPR (EU), PDPA (Malaysia & Singapore), DPA (Philippines), PDPA (Thailand), PDPD (Vietnam), UU PDP (Indonesia), and PDPO (Brunei) — with consent-first biometric enrolment across every jurisdiction. Does AyeFace track me across merchants? Can I opt out?+
Cross-merchant features — like pooled loyalty and personalised deals — are opt-in. You can switch off cross-merchant personalisation at any time and still use AyeFace for checkout and payments. AyeFace never sells or shares your behavioural or transaction data for advertising; it's used only to run the features you've turned on. Individual merchants never see each other's customer data, and you can delete your data — including behavioural history, not just your face template — anytime from the user portal.
Can customers opt out of facial recognition?+
Absolutely. Facial recognition is always opt-in. Customers can pay using traditional methods at any time and can request deletion of their biometric data from the AyeFace User app or by contacting support.
Billing
How does billing work?+
Plans are billed per touchpoint (device) per month. Annual billing saves up to 33%. Add-on loyalty seats and AI passes are available at US$15/unit/month. No setup fees or hidden charges.
