About the Role
At Aye, we’re building the future of retail and payments — and the heart of that future is our ecosystem of users. As our Community Marketer, you’ll be the voice, connector, and advocate for everyone in this ecosystem: consumers, merchants, and partners.
This isn’t just about managing channels — it’s about creating meaningful engagement, sparking conversations, and turning users into passionate advocates of what we’re building. We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes community, is deeply curious about fintech and retail innovation, and knows how to turn complex ideas into stories that resonate.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow and engage our ecosystem of users across digital platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Instagram, Discord, etc.) with authentic, creative content.
- Craft compelling narratives around Aye’s mission, product milestones, and customer stories — making retail and payments innovation relatable and exciting.
- Plan and execute campaigns that build awareness, drive adoption, and deepen participation in both online and offline communities.
- Organize events and activations — from user meetups to merchant workshops and ecosystem gatherings.
- Listen, learn, and respond to community feedback, creating a strong feedback loop with product and business teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and leadership teams to align messaging and amplify key initiatives.
- Track, analyze, and report on community growth, engagement, and sentiment — using data to continuously refine strategies.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in community marketing, brand building, or digital engagement, ideally in tech, fintech, or consumer-facing products.
- Proven success in growing and nurturing communities — both users and stakeholders.
- Strong storytelling and content creation skills (writing, visuals, video).
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, community-building tools, and growth strategies.
- A natural connector: empathetic, approachable, and able to relate to diverse audiences.
- Data-driven mindset — using metrics to measure impact and improve continuously.
- Passion for startups, innovation, and shaping the future of payments and retail.
