About the Role

As a Business & Finance Analyst Intern, you’ll play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives, analyzing business opportunities, and developing insights that will directly shape how merchants and consumers interact in the physical world.This internship is designed for analytical thinkers who want to apply their skills in a high-growth, fast-moving environment and gain hands-on exposure to fintech and retail innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis within retail and payments to inform strategy and positioning.
- Develop financial models, forecasts, and business cases to support decision-making and fundraising initiatives.
- Assist in preparing pitch decks and strategic presentations for partners, merchants, and investors.
- Analyze transaction data, performance metrics, and KPIs to identify growth opportunities and operational improvements.
- Support business development initiatives, including merchant onboarding, pricing analysis, and partnership evaluation.
- Prepare concise reports and executive briefs to translate data and findings into actionable insights.
- Work closely with the product and strategy teams to align analysis with product roadmaps and go-to-market priorities.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in Docs/PowerPoints/Canva/Excel/Google Sheets; bonus if familiar with SQL or data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities — able to distill complex findings into clear, persuasive narratives.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Curious and proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
